Miriam Villa

Miriam Villa is a legal assistant at the Salem office who enjoys making dreams come true. As the daughter of migrant parents, she knows first-hand how difficult the immigration process can be. She is dedicated to serve her client’s needs and takes great joy in helping them navigate through their individual journeys.

Her first experience working with migrant families was at Chemeketa Community College, where she attended as a student and worked as a student ambassador. She enjoyed joining Latino clubs and various cultural groups around campus.

She later found herself working for a personal injury law firm for 5 years. Miriam enjoyed working at a law firm because she was able to help people in need. But it wasn't until she worked for an immigration attorney that she realized this was the legal practice she most enjoyed. After 2 years as a legal assistant, she transitioned to work at Hecht & Norman, LLP where she’s been working since February 2019.

Outside of work, Miriam enjoys staying busy as a mother of three, and when possible, she loves to travel with her husband and 3 children.
