Attorneys Raquel Hecht and Callie Gautreaux will be speaking at the University of Oregon School of Law as part of the National Lawyers Guild forum on Immigration Law. The talk will be held at the law school at 6 p.m. on April 18th and law students as well as the general public are invited. Attorney Raquel Hecht will speak on the current situation of illegal immigrants including pending legislation and the effect it may have for many immigrants who have resided in the U.S. for a number of years. Callie Gautreaux will discuss issues relating to the patriot act and its effect on immigration.
